Captain's Club Major Events

Throughout the year, Captain’s Club hosts a number of sports-themed events across the country, including the Chappell 108 Lunch Series.

These luncheons allow both business and sports professionals to rub shoulders, connect, and wine and dine with other inspiring captain’s of industry, all while enjoying stellar entertainment and supporting the incredible Australian charity helping combat youth homelessness The Chappell Foundation.

Previous events have been held at the Port Office Hotel , Queensland Cricket Club, The Story Bridge Hotel, and Nissan Arena.

Held at Victoria Park Golf Complex, guests were entertained MC Ben Davis who spoke to Ariarne Titmus, Shane Gould, Dean Boxall and Kate Jones.

At the Captain’s Club Event in March, we auctioned a lunch with Pat Rafter and Greg Chappell. On 21 May we hosted the Auscoast Fire Sportsman’s Lunch for 25 special guests and we joined by Pat Welch to “ask the tough questions.”

Hosted by the Captain’s Club with proceeds to the Chappell Foundation, the event featured Pat Rafter, Wayne Bennett, Greg Chappell with Alan Jones in the Grand Ball Room, Hilton Hotel and 300 guests.

Held on the 17th December 2020 at the spectacular Queensland Cricket Club, where 120 gathered to connect, inspire, learn, and contribute. Raising funds for The Chappell Foundation and celebrating the 50th anniversary of Greg Chappell’s test debut.

Captain’s Club hosted an “Evening with Greg Chappell MBE” together with Ian Healy, Gary Cosier, Carl Rackemann, Kirby Short and Matt Brannelly as MC. The event was held at the Port Office Hotel.
